By Ryan Boetel / Journal Staff Writer   A conservative news outlet's investigative report on 2nd Congressional District candidate Gabe Vasquez alleged he "gave a fake name" during a interview with an El Paso television station at a Black Lives Matter protest in the summer of 2020. The sleuthing didn't hold up to much scrutiny, however. The television station took responsibility for the confusion, saying it was the result of a mistake made during a live newscast.
