David is a very close friend and neighbor who starting as a teenager was incarcerated for over twenty years.  He talks openly about how he matured "in the box" where he learned about responsibility and accountability.  Since his release, he has been active in gang intervention and worked in many of our local schools to help guide children at risk.  He also offered some great insight into incarceration vs. the mental prison that melds neatly into our discussion about mental addiction.   David’s insight into the mental rigors of incarceration are beautifully metaphoric for the prison mental addiction appears to cause.

We are planning to do two more episodes exploring how to turn the limits of thoughts and trauma into a valuable asset.
