MOD episodes have no shelf-life or expiration date. Since our focus is principled and always happening now - each will always reflect the fluid motion of current events.
Willingness is this month's principle. No-body who has suffered reactive, impulsive, or compulsive behaviors lacks willingness. Principles are turned into liabilities when we are willing to do the wrong thing, thinking it is right. This also goes for: faith in faithlessness, hope in hopelessness, trust in what is not trustworthy, or belief in what has no basis are all examples. Prayer is the same. If we are praying for what cannot be done, we are praying for a lie to be true and life can quickly seem impossible when it is the entertainment of impossible thoughts creating that impression. Acting on baseless ideas is a commitment to failure unless failure was intended. The longer such impressions are maintained, the greater our sense of depression.
In the obsessive case, we can't apply enough principles to get what we think we want to work. Yet to do what can be done takes little will or principled application of faith, trust, belief, or hope to have what we do work, functionally, productively, and beneficially. Taking maligned action cannot make us or save us. Taking affirmative action provides for all of us.
When we are willing to do what works our effort is confirmed immediately. Fulfillment is natural when we think in alignment with what is actually happening rather than thinking all that is happening is what we think is happening.
