Some considerations:
Truth, Reality, and Love cannot be denied - no matter what we think - and our human experience of suffering is evidence we know this since we know more than we think, we know better. Pain is our frank, honest, immediate admission we know something is wrong.
There is no addiction, loss, condemnation, pity, guilt, or shame in Truth, Reality, and Love. There is no escape from what is essential and yet there is no condemnation in what is absolutely abundant, supportive, and generous.
What is True, Real, and Loving is what we share, since it is all there is. What is inviolable cannot be extinguished; It's light cannot be put out, It's warmth cannot be cooled, It's beginning cannot end.
There is no discrimination, segregation, or inequity in what is indivisible, essential, and non-negotiable. Letting go of what is Absolute is having it since it cannot be contained or held in thought. What we think can be held is only a thought holding what it is thinking about. Truth need not be held or told to be True. We cannot have our own truth or reality since it cannot be something for each of us if it is not everything for all of us.
It is not grandiose or arrogant to imagine our Source as Infinite, it is grandiose and arrogant to imagine it is not - if it is.
We are not afraid of the unknown. We are afraid of what we know when we think we can hide it or from it.
We are not afraid to die, we are afraid to live. To live as though our life depends on defending lies, to save us from exposure, is to create the threat we claim our defensiveness is protecting us from. Addiction is a lie and so twists and squirms like a worm to give the appearance it is making progress.
There is no greater vulnerability than to protect something that has no life, as though it does. For what use would protection that creates the threat be? Lies infect our human experience like a contagious plague. Lies are no more than we make of them and when we think what is not true is real, we think we are tasked with the creation of truth and reality and are repulsed and embarrassed by all we think we see.
What is happening is always happening. What is happening is the sum total of all that has ever happened and all that is happening as it is happening, now. To think things should be as we think they should be is to not think of what is happening but what we think. Shortcomings and going are thoughts circling themselves like buzzards, taken seriously. Mistakes trigger misgivings.
Remember, when life seems impossible, it is only an impossible thought, acted on as though it is true, that we are experiencing.
