On the tenth episode of Tre's Room, Tremaine chats with Melody Robinson over Black Girl Magic and Representation of Black Women.

"In the fall of 2020, I, Melody Ariell Robinson, transferred to Texas Southern University and immediately became active on the campus. I joined the Texas Southern cheer team, University of Houston ROTC, Spring ‘21 initiate of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, campus pals, National Society of Leadership and Success, and was appointed Senate Secretary of the Student Government Association all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I have made the President’s List since being here. I currently volunteer at the Houston Food Bank and Houston Habitat for Humanity, as well as campus clean-ups. When needed, I have worked in the Tiger Market and currently work the indoor track meets at the University of Houston. While living in Mississippi, I was actively involved in community service at Feed My Sheep Ministries, Stewpot Community Services, and the United Way. I started my college career at Jackson State University where I was a member of the cheer team, girls’ coalition, initiated into the National Society of Leadership, and a two-time President’s List student. My qualities are being passionate about helping people, being active and willing to participate in campus activities, being studious, having a strong work ethic, being able to adapt to any situation, and having strong leadership skills. I was born September 10, 2000 to Melvin and Charlotte Robinson in Jackson, Mississippi."
