There is some big, big news around the NFT and metaverse. The biggest news comes with Microsoft making the move of acquiring Activision for $69 billion!

Ubisoft is still getting hated but has stated that people still don't get the concept of NFTs in the gaming sector. The reason for the backlash of the NFT initiative of allowing users to own in-game items is mainly is that the community believes that Ubisoft is not looking out for them. Instead, they are trying to make passive income off the royalties of selling the NFT in-game items. Tezos will be the blockchain technology to make this possible but Ubisoft indicated that it won't be involved if stuff went down during the actional transactions. Basically not be held accountable for the NFT sales themselves.

A Minecraft NFT game called "Blockverse" look like to have rug pulled people out of $1 million in a matter of 8 hours. The Discord was cut off and the community was left panicing. However, after some time the founding team released a statement about the harrasement and problems they were facing and promised to ensure that their operation is not indeed a rug pull. Nevertheless, this still raises a giant red flag!

Coinbase really about to make its own NFT platform and directly compete with OpeanSea. They already showed a preview of their page. Do you think we will be all transitioning to Coinbase to buy NFTs are is OpenSea still going to be number one?
