The NFT project EightBit Me is starting to go off. The mint dates were on March 30th and the 31st for 0.05 and the floor price is hovering around 0.85ETH at the time of the recording (4/23/22).

This project claims to be an "OG project" as back in 2010, EightBit Me launched the original 8-bit avatar creator, an app that lets you make a virtual 8-bit version of yourself.

Check out EightBit  Me video here. My gut feeling is telling me that this project is going to behave somewhat similar to CryptoSkulls which was another older project that did not receive the love and attention like CrpytoPunks but it did many many months after.

People are always on the hunt for OG NFT projects and find value in them. The short story of CryptoSkulls was that the floor price went from 0.2 ETH to 5 ETH in a matter of days to eventually dwindle down to the current floor price of 0.5ETH. Was the hype of projects that are older real? Is it just a fad or is there actual value we can obtain from having them in our collection?
