In this third episode of our Noisy Spirits series, we continue our exploration of the poltergeist phenomenon.
We cover two monumental poltergeist manifestation cases in depth during this episode. These cases are different than the other cases we've covered thus far because they both involved scientists successfully working towards understanding the poltergeist phenomenon.
The first case occurred in Germany where the phenomenon changed as expectations of the phenomenon changed. One of the really neat aspects of this case is that numerous experts from various fields were on hand as witnesses while ruling out common causes.
The second case was rare as a parapsychologist was on the scene as the event was occurring. This case is fascinating because scientific controls were applied to the poltergeist phenomenon, a type of paranormal event that prior to this case was thought to be uncontrollable. More importantly, those same scientific controls yielded fascinating evidence.
This episode was researched, written and produced by me, Tim Woolworth. The audio wizardy is courtesy of our engineer, and fellow explorer of the unknown, Joshua Sean at Zero-G ITC. Hopefully our efforts made a little bit of our paranormal world more normal for you.
