Jesus loved, looked for, and supported the oppressed without supporting criminal activity, the red district etc. You can be a good steward of people who are suffering and be a winner of souls and stand against tyranny. Where is grace, mercy, and empathy?
The death of George Floyd should be a wake up call for every American! What breaks Gods heart should break ours.
Mental struggles are real. How should we handle these issues as Christians? What are some resources that we can use? I believe that the Lord will heal you as He did me. Let's begin the healing journey. The first step is to understand that you need help and realize that everybody does once in awhile. Seasons of life can affect our emotional state.
I wonder what Jesus would do, think, and expect in many situations. This Podcast tackles the topic of how we treat people as Christians. Instead of asking, "What would Jesus do?" Perhaps the question should be, "What would Jesus expect?"

I hear people ask this question, "Why does God allow bad things to happen?" This is a tough topic to answer because people are really hurting when they ask it. I attempt to answer this question on this Podcast.
Have you ever seen the show, "Say Yes to the Dress"? The brides come in with an expectation and leave with the dress they were destined to have. We have our own ideas about how our lives should go. Samuel had ideas about which son would be King. Yet, God destined one.
Jealousy is a form of lust. It must be dealt with before it takes root in your heart. Why should we be jealous? It's like we're saying God messed up and overlooked us. He knows what we need and when we need it. There's always someone who has it worse off than you.
I was and still am perfectly imperfect. I lived through mental illness for most of my childhood and adult life. God is a healer and rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. The Holy Spirit saw me through the worst, and now I get to share my story to help others heal. "I'm no longer a slave to fear, perfectionism, rituals, or obsessions. I am a child of God."
What God told Moses to tell the Israelites is still relevant today. Feed the poor. Be careful how you treat foreigners and the elderly. Make God a priority and don't worship other idols. There are so many good life quotes in this chapter.
Fear will either cripple you or equip you. There are rational and irrational fears. One is God's protection and the other is Satan's device. Whose voice will you listen to at the end of the day?
Who is your daddy? Who do you identify with and believe? You will get your identity either through people or Jesus.
