In this episode, Dr. Huang discusses synthetic biology in general and her inspiration behind creating these BioBits® lab activities. She then introduces us to some of the different lab activities, such as expressing brightly colored fluorescent proteins to show how proteins are expressed from DNA or even early prototypes introducing what biosensors are and how they can be used.
