"When you are in alignment with the desires of your heart, things have a way of working out. " --Iyanla Vanzant

I am obsessed with competition shows like Amazing Race, Project Runway and Top Chef--I have seen every episode…twice! What I love is seeing how everyone approaches a challenge. How they have moments to decide what they are going to do and then actually follow through.

Reflecting on Top Chef I have pulled together my 5 biggest lessons learned that, when put into practice, help us get our life back into alignment.

Today on the Surviving to Thriving Podcast, we'll talk about:

  • How we need play to our strengths…not other's.
  • Honing in on what matters most…we can do anything, just not everything!
  • Preparing for roadblocks and not letting them derail us.
  • How self-advocacy is the name of the game! We must use our voices!
  • Pacing ourselves so that we do not run out of steam!

This is the perfect episode for you if you are feeling off kilter and are need to get your life back into alignment with what matters most…YOU!
