Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Life is precious and when Lou became suddenly VERY, very sick we spiraled into a very, very dark place for most of 2021. And even in the scariest moments, we found moments of laughter, gratitude, love and joy. It's HOPE... it's what gets us through the hardest of times.

This is human. I get it. We need answers.. and I didn't directly address it in the podcast because I purposely wanted you to acknowledge how we're like this (it's normal!). And part of learning from this experience is letting go of the need to know. All that to say, I won't make you try out my shoes.. he had a blood disease. And once they identified it and put him on an IV, he was almost instantly better. Phew.
