There might be times that you would pull back from asking questions that you have in mind.  Have you thought if you were scared of causing inconvenience of others or that you might might want to avoid any chances of feeling embarrassed or perhaps you cared too much how people might judge you or  it might have been a natural act of protecting our own ego?
