David McCullough passed away at age 89 on August 8, 2022, of natural causes. Mr. McCullough won two Pulitzer Prizes, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, a National Book Award winner. He authored biographies, histories, and philosophies about great dreamers, great accomplishments, and common ordinary people who changed the world. He made history live with powerful easy-to-read narratives and stories.

This episode pays tribute to a person who understood dreams and shared their possibility with stories of the past. Anyone who read one of Mr. McCullough's books understands his ability to describe great vistas and accomplishments by focusing on the efforts of people to improve society. If you have not read one of his many books, I would encourage you to do so.

I will personally miss the anticipation of a new book by David McCullough, the inspiration of learning of great dreams, and the insights of this historian, biographer, and philosopher. Thank you, Mr. McCullough, for inspiring us to BE Better, to SEE More, to DO Better, and to GIVE More of ourselves.
