Hi, I'm Armon Owlia. I'm a journalist and podcaster who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3. I've spent the last few years as an advocate and activist raising awareness and acceptance about autism, including my current hosting gig on the YouTube series, "For The Community."

What is autism? A loaded question, to be sure. However, in short, autism is a culture and community that spans many disciplines, including cultural, medical, and political.

However, the problem is that no one focuses on all three aspects at the same time.

Each episode, I bring on guests and advocates, both neurotypical and neurodiverse, who are shifting the paradigm of understanding neurodivergent rights.

This isn't one aspect of neurodiversity: you'll get the whole spectrum, in a multidisciplinary approach, from the cultural, medical, social, and political aspects, with one goal in mind: to get the best voices possible to the listeners and find ways to show how being autistic in a neurotypical world can be amazing.

Now is the perfect time to bridge the gap between the neurotypical and the neurodiverse.

Together, we can Move The Needle.

See you on October 12!
