Shermonicia Slaughter is a woman of God and a mother of three beautiful children. She has an MBA in Criminal Justice and is an 11 year survivor of domestic violence. She is an advocate for survivors of domestic abuse, and she founded the My Journey Within podcast as well as a non profit called Help Me, Help You, to assist survivors of domestic abuse.

Furthermore, as an overcomer of depression and suicide, Shermonicia chose to specialize in mental health. Her motto is Love yourself enough so that when love shows up, it won't be a stranger to you!
