Nureed is sharing the link to the relatively short film created by the Zinn Project in partnership with Richard Rothstein, author of “The Color of Law”. Understanding the history of our nation’s responsibility in residential segregation becomes our individual responsibility to learn about it and recognize where we as designers and architects can make an impact in our own industry. It is undeniable that our industry is so closely linked to the system that was created decades ago and frankly how our industry sees opportunity is built upon inherited wealth and the segregation of cities across the country.

The film is called “Segregated by Design”.
