Ruth 2:1-23 -- Ruth goes out to the fields to gather grain for her and Naomi. She encounters Boaz, who after hearing about her reputation, lavishes her with provisions and protection. God’s hand was at work to bring these two together as an act of love and blessing toward Naomi. Both Ruth and Boaz embody a god-like love in their protection and care.
