On this first episode, Andrew, a financial coach, and Alex, a mental health therapist discuss the student loan crisis in America. They end up sharing how they both decided as a couple the importance of taking advantage of the zero interest during the pandemic and owning up to their loan that they agreed on years ago when Alex decided to go to USC for graduate school to earn her Masters degree in social work. In their financial journey to become debt-free,  they both end up sharing, how they started to budget and got serious in order to pay off $120,000 dollars of student loan debt all in one year, living in Orange County, California.
