We've ALL complained about the small size of airline seats and the government is looking for solutions.  At a recent expo aimed at airline execs, a new double-decker seating device was on display that would allow extra room on each side, and the opportunity to recline.  There's one small drawback.  Your face will be at the same level as the seat cushion ahead of you.  Without getting into specifics, let's just say we hope that person ahead of you didn't enjoy a big hearty bowl of lentil soup or baked beans before the flight.
