This is a little more about the Christian and self defense. I was asked a very specific question, how can one claim that a Christian can take a life in defense of one's own self or loved ones or in retention of one own's property or the property of others in light of the command to love one's enemies and to do good to those who hate you? I hope I at least adequately show that these two ideas are not in contradiction with one another. Let me know what you think.
