We caught up with UEFA Pro Licence holder and Coach Developer (CD), Rob Sherman, in the latest episode of the pod.
The Welshman, is the CD for the Pro Diploma Course currently held here in Singapore. Rob will be assessing and mentoring the group of local coaches here in the next week. Rob shares his opinion on the quality of coaches here, the work of a CD, and also how coaches development has evolved over time.
The former professional player with Cardiff City and Swansea City also tells us how important self reflection and self assessment is for a coach. Rob, who had stints as the Technical Director in Wales and Australia, emphasized on the "how" of coaching in terms of delivery of sessions being a key message at coaching courses.
