British racing driver Jack Harvey last week completed the last of the pre-season GP3 tests ahead of the start of the 2013 GP3 season in May. Harvey, driving for ART Grand Prix, has had a strong start to his GP3 campaign; consistently finishing within the top four at each test.
The pre-season tests saw the Racing Steps Foundation-backed driver visit Estoril, Barcelona and, most recently, Silverstone. Estoril and Barcelona saw Harvey face some tricky track conditions with heavy rain falling throughout much of the tests. At both of the first two tests ART Grand Prix worked solidly to develop the car throughout each of the sessions. As the tests progressed, Harvey was able to find more pace which saw his lap times drop consistently.
The MSA Team UK driver finished the three day test at Estoril in P3 and the two day test in Barcelona in P2 having done a total of 126 laps.
