For this years Black History Month, here at Demyth HQ we wanted to continue on the story from last year. We are also curious with the inclusion of flood myths throughout mythology.
This myth continues the Yoruba story of Obatala's adventures with humans and Olokun's revenge.

Psyche and Eros is one of the oldest love stories ever told. Luna Mcnamara's version plays with the myths we know and love, and gives Psyche a more well developed character, with more agency. A true retelling in it's most authentic form, with plenty of easter eggs thrown in for good measure. A must read for those who are new to myth and those who are not.

Lioness of Punjab is historical YA fiction with a main character that is EVERYTHING Lauren wanted. Learning about Mai Bhago with Anita Jari Kharbanda was an absolute privilage and Lauren reccomends the book to everyone.
