Kimberly, Sonia, and Jonathan answer a question from Pat in Little Rock, Arkansas:

“I recently heard a colleague providing feedback to a team member and he led into it with “someone from your generation probably _____” The colleague looked upset. What do you think about bringing up observations about different generations at work?”

Kimberly shares with all the book Sticking Points by Haydn Shaw as a good resource for engaging positively in the current workforce that spans 5 generations.

Sonia suggests to Pat to reframe and reposition statements that create defensiveness.

Jonathan advises Pat to watch out for stereotyping others. Instead, understand we can learn from everyone, no matter the generation.

There are so many more ideas shared by the coaches you don’t want to miss.
