This episode is very special to us as we invited long term Think Africa members and friends Dora Puhakka and Akin Akinsola to discuss identity.  Listen in as they share the factors shaping, influencing and informing their individual unique identity. 

Dora is a Namibian living in Finland with a passion for themes around diversity and inclusion.  Originally from Nigeria, Akin is an Engineer living and working in Finland. You get to hear a thing or two about Yoruba, Ovambo and much more.  

We tend to crave for meaningful conversations, genuine interest and safe spaces to share what informs the richness and remarkable understanding of the self. Rightfully so, we don’t always have the energy to tell the whole story. 

This conversation goes on to dissect diverse trajectories and extent to what constitutes an individual's identity and what conveys the unique characteristics of identity as a socio-anthropological phenomenon.
