Today I’m chatting to Sam Peters
Sam spent the best part of 20 years as a sports correspondent for media sources such as The Times, The Mail on Sunday and News International, amongst others and was shortlisted for the Cudlipp Prize and Sports Journalist of The Year in 2014.
Rugby and cricket journalism is Sam’s speciality and he spent years campaigning to raise awareness and encourage change to help reduce serious injuries sustained by rugby players, especially head injuries.
Sam has always had a love and appreciation for nature and the great outdoors and in recent years founded Planted, a sustainable events and media platform promoting nature-based design.
Sam and I have a great chat and I get to learn so much about the reasons he started Planted and his upcoming event, in partnership with the National Trust at Stourhead, in Wiltshire.
I’ll attach links to all of this below and I highly recommend you check them out.
This was a great chat with a genuinely great bloke, I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed chatting with him.
