Inexpensive/free ways to do this:

• Microsoft Word Online will transcribe audio, and it even will recognize multiple speakers.
• PowerPoint will actually do screen recordings (both still and video). Here’s an asynchronous presentation I did on this for a recent conference where I talk a little about these kinds of features in PowerPoint.

Some paid options:

• Descript: An amazing AI-based transcription tool for recording voice to text (a little pricey at $288 per year, per person)
• Camtasia (for screen video capture). Here’s a video I did recently for the Center for Teaching Excellence here at UofSC about Camtasia’s Interactive Hotspots feature.
• Snagit to do screenshots and create job aids.
