Hi! This is Luke Varner, GM and Producer on Eidolon Playtest, an actual-play role-playing show that uses a game system we've written ourselves!

Our game, EIDOLON: Become Your Best Self, is about manifesting the latent power of your soul, bringing forth the supernatural abilities you've always had dormant within you to battle evil, protect what you hold precious, and confront the hidden facets of your own heart.

What you're about to hear is the first episode of Eidolon GIANTS, one of several 4-part miniseries we produced this summer to give new listeners an easy place to start.

Each series is fully self-contained, and inspired by the music of a band suggested by one of our Patreon subscribers!

GIANTS is based on They Might Be Giants, and tells the story of four down-on-their luck private investigators who get pulled into a conspiracy that threatens to destroy the surreal, exaggerated version of New York City that they call home.

It features myself as the GM, and Zoe Tunnell, Iris Christianson, Fabby Garza and Maxie Knightley as players. Maxie is also responsible for the show's fantastic original soundtrack!
