"Hello, my name is Robbie Knutson, I am the creator and lead writer of the fantasy horror audio-drama Ghost Wax. I voice Reclaimer Owen Voncid, as well as assorted other victims and villains and am so excited to share with you episode thirty of our show: Seen on a Battlefield.

Ghost Wax follows Voncid after his new technical assistant Luca is able to devise a means to record his very unusual interviews: specifically a specialized wax cylinder made of very rare materials. These recordings comprise the entirety of the show, giving small windows into the strange, occult world that the characters live in, where a secretive order works day and night to conduct damage control for the human population against otherworldly incursions and black magic practitioners.

Voncid as the orders last living “reclaimer” practices the art of necromancy waking the dead to reclaims their stories, or devours their memories into himself to give them his own voice. His services are so valuable in the investigations of the order that he has been forbidden, for centuries, to die.

We find him leaving a message for his oldest living friend in the courtyard of the Order’s headquarters on the west coast, the Hotel Ardent, followed by the reclaiming of a long lost memory claimed amid the 1400’s war of the roses. The story of a simple soldier holding on to mad hope in the face of true horror."
