Greetings this is Kaitlin Statz the writer and creator of VAST Horizon. And I'm Travis Vengroff, the Producer and Sound Designer. We greatly appreciate our nomination for the AVA Awards this year and are proud to share the first episode of our second season - Recovery. VAST Horizon is the story of one woman's fight for survival against the void of space. In season 1 our protagonist, Dr. Nolira Eck was set adrift after a catastrophic incident left her as the lone survivor of the Technocracy ship Bifrost. Injured and alone Nolria and the Ship's AI were able to rescue the Bifrost's most important asset, its embryonic vats before meeting Sanon, a war criminal and the only other survivor on the ship. Both survivors have now been rescued but not before Nolira has been seriously injured. Now between consciousness, memories, and nightmares, we start the second episode of this season - Recovery. The show is rated PG 13 for violence and occasional language, and features a talented cast hailing from 6 continents who help us bring this story to life.
