Hello, This is Dragon, I’m a cast member of Penance RPG and manage our social media. We a role play podcast – so we record our role playing games and fully edit them for release. Our podcast contains various adventure campaigns with several different groups of players. We aim to promote collaborative storytelling through character interaction with their environment and improvisation to solve the various problems and tasks they encounter. We mostly use high-fantasy but low magic settings, whereby many mystical creatures, species and peoples are commonplace throughout. The players creativity is a strong influence on the direction of the story and many elements of the world are a direct consequence of their previous actions.

The following Episode is from our adaptation of Out of the Abyss, a pre-written D&D adventure which we adapted in its entirety for our listeners in 2019. The Tale tells the story of a small group of adventurers who had been captured and imprisoned in the underdark but manage to break free and are making their way through this strange and wonderous land, experiencing the bizarre environment and peoples found in this place, for context, the party have just fled from a city where a dragon had also been imprisoned, after inspiring that dragon to revolt and set ablaze all its captors. The party now find themselves on the cusp of a small village of mushroom people, called Myconids, one of whom was imprisoned with them when they escaped.. We hope you enjoy Abyss 3.
