Last Sunday Rev. Rob Jones preached on the Beatitudes. He reminded us that we can often come to pieces of scripture that we know well, like the Beatitudes, and not truly receive from them. He challenged us to see scripture as a beautiful place that is waiting for us to be willing enough to experience the beauty it holds.
