This time we interview residency trained optometrist Dr. Cristina Acevedo. She knew she wanted to pursue the field of optometry at a young age when she saw her grandfather slowly go blind from unmanaged diabetes. She wanted to prevent others from going through the same thing and she was determined to succeed.

We learn about how things are going for her and her family now during the pandemic and she offers all of us words of wisdom to live by in our lifelong pursuit of self-improvement.
