Why am I so easily offended?
Sometimes, it's the most ignoble people in my life that can have the loudest effect on how I feel.
I think about what they say.
I stew about how they acted.
And I often lend myself prisoner to the stupidity of dishonorable people around me.
This is a natural feeling that we have all felt before!
But what if this feeling was deeply connected by a bigger fear. What if this feeling is actually directly tethered to my concern that God himself wouldn't remember me.
In episode two, we take a moment to be honest with how we feel. As we confess our true hurt, listen to Psalm 3 and how King David reconciles his offense. In all of his splender, and with a heart designed to chase after God, David still takes pause, and confesses his fear to God.
May this inspire you!
May you walk away from this time together with a renewed reminder that God hears you and fights for you. May you know that God not only understands the offense you feel, but also fights to deliver you in the middle of your trial!
