The New Canadians Centre's Young Leaders council (NCCYL) presents a radio show made by newcomer youth for newcomer youth - and anyone who would like to listen! New Canadian youth in Peterborough-Nogojiwanong talk about different topics from the newcomer youth perspective and share their experiences with the community. In this episode of The NCCYL Show, members share the difference between schools in Canada and outside Canada and the difference in the educational systems that a newcomer will encounter when moving to Canada. They also discuss friendships, the hardship that comes with making new friends as a newcomer to Canada, and tips to overcome that.
