Sitting #17 - The virtues of the last ten days of Ramadan.
That the last ten days of Ramadan have khasaa'is(special features), from them:
- That the Prophet ﷺ would exert himself in worship in them more than any other time.
- He would tighten his mi'zar (lower garments), stay up all the night, and wake his family.
- That the Prophet ﷺ would perform i'tikaafin them.
- The true objective of i'tikaafand what is allowed and what is not allowed for the mu'takif.
