Matthew A. King is the President of the Christian Animal Rights Association, which he co-founded with his spouse, Christina King. He is the author of an upcoming book discussing Christianity and animal rights. Matthew is also a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.

Christian Animal Rights Association was founded with a mission to educate, advocate, protect, and defend the rights of all animals, from a Christian and biblical perspective. Our ministry desires the abolition of human exploitation of animals by advocating legal personhood, eliminating the property status of animals, and advocating abstention from animal products. These goals reflect the ideal God revealed in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 1:20-30) and the heavenly New Earth, that will be founded when Jesus returns (Isaiah 11:6-9; 65:25; and Hosea 2:18). We seek to live out Jesus' prayer, "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10).
