On Thursday 31 March, Mayor Guthrie gave his State of the City address to the Guelph Chamber of Commerce.  At the first in-person SOTC since 2019, he spoke of  HOMES, GROWTH, TRUST, EQUITY, TRANSIT, COSTS, and COVID.

He visited us and answered our questions about:

a new hospital in Guelph (did you know that communities - not the province - must pay for hospital equipment?), the effect of inflation on the status of capital projects - and the importance of the City fulfilling contractual obligations, improvements in Guelph Transit, the Property Assessed Clean Energy Program, the OR lands (and parklands in general), and housing (Wellington County handles Housing and Social Services for Guelph).
