The United States Marine Corps. will be stationed on US cargo ships travelling through the Strait of Hormuz. This comes after several US and other Allied Cargo Vessels have been seized by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Iran's Religious wing of the Military. The USMC presence aboard American cargo ships is available if requested by the shipping companies.
