Yitzy Spinner has been performing around the globe for over 30 years, having begun his international stage career at only 8 years old. While he is known in the music production world as a seasoned orchestrator and conductor, it is in the synagogue that his passion for history and education come to the forefront. He can often be found lecturing on the origins of Jewish liturgy and its music, a topic that he holds dear to his heart. Yitzy currently serves as the Chazzan of the Great Neck Synagogue, in Long Island, New York, one of the most prestigious Orthodox Synagogues in the United States.
In addition to his role as Chazzan, Yitzy enjoys a successful career as a stage performer and recording studio professional. His music production company, The Lab, has been an integral part of the New York live production and recording scene for over a decade.
Yitzy can also be found performing as a featured vocalist on stages across the world. No location is to remote for him, as he combines his passions for music, travel, and history all at once.
