A visit to Homestead Motel reveals more mysteries to be uncovered about Point Lookout. This is the first episode of In The Shadow of Swamp by Puce Moose.

Note: Point Lookout Reborn and In The Shadow Of Swamp also conflict when editing the Homestead Motel. Luckily, DeadMano's The Wasteland Patch Collection addresses most issues, minus the Punga Script conflict, which I'll cover in a later episode.

  • 00:41 - Another morning in Point Lookout. I go to Homestead Motel Room 10 (through an outside door).
  • 01:26 - A poster on the kitchen wall mentions an Autodoc.
  • 01:57 - I take the "Swamp (1) - Note on the desk" and read it. It mentions a Punga Cookbook, a passcode to the small safe, and lost passwords.
  • 04:44 - A Big Book Of Science on the bench. I inspect the place.
  • 07:11 - That's the AutoDoc thing. I'm not authorized to use it, so I check the terminal on the table.
  • 07:52 - Journal Entry One. It mentions the bumper cars and the lost lunchbox.
  • 09:18 - Journal Entry Two.
  • 10:02 - I don't have the Access Card to use the AutoDoc.
  • 10:13 - I find the "Swamp (1) - Note on the nightstand" near the bed.
  • 11:19 - Leaving the place. Heading north, the first door leads to the Offices (PL Reborn); the second one is to Room 1M (requires a key). Then, another door to the Offices.
  • 11:35 - I turn right and check the doors facing north. The first, third, and fourth ones lead to the Offices. The second is boarded up.
  • 12:07 - I go east and meet Loretta Duke and her Yao Guai (PL Reborn).
  • 12:50 - Inspecting the bumper cars and finding the lost lunchbox (the one to the northeast). I take the AutoDoc Access Card, a Nuka Cola, and the Punga Bread.
  • 13:53 - Returning to Room 10. I noticed the Mail 10 Box by the door (it's locked).
  • 14:09 - To authorize the AutoDoc Access Card, I need the missing password
  • 14:32 - Reading the "Swamp (1) - Note on the desk." again. It mentions the pier, his friend's birthday, how many children he has, and a cargo ship.
  • 15:59 - Ignore the Offices. I'll check the door on the other side.
  • 16:42 - Unlocking Room 1B. Flashback: the key was on the Loan Officer's Desk (People's Bank of Point Lookout).
  • 19:36 - Hacking the terminal. The "Bad Start" entry first (mentions a prototype pistol and unique 15mm ammo type).
  • 20:26 - "Project Completion List" entry mentions the new weapon (Tiger Sumatran).
  • 21:17 - "Maybe I can pull this off" entry mentions a biologist and his SuperChemBot.
  • 22:07 - "Alright! Finally, a break." entry mentions the biologist's home.
  • 23:34 - Opening the briefcase near the table, I find the Gun Case Key and the "Swamp (2) - Tiger Sumatran" note.
  • 25:10 - Leaving the place and entering Room 1D
