Dracula by Bram Stoker, chapter 4, narrated by Isaac Birchall

Jonathan Harker wakes up the next morning in his bed, confused as to the events of the previous night. After a few days, Dracula instructs Harker to write some letters to his employer, and to his Fiancée Mina, and to date them for 3 dates in June. The count says that he should tell them that he is on his way home.
In the day, a party of Gypsies comes to the Castle, and Jonathan tries to signal them to send a separate letter to Mina that the count hasn’t seen. Throwing the secret letter from the window, a gypsy puts it into his hat, and Harker seems to believe that his message will be delivered. Later that day though, Dracula turns up with the secret letter and berates Jonathan for breaking his friendship with the count.
Weeks pass, and Harker remains prisoner. Even more gypsies come to the castle, and Jonathan sees them unloading many boxes from their wagons. One day, Harker notices that several of his clothes are missing from his wardrobe, later, Jonathan sees the count crawl from his window again but this time in Harker’s own clothes.
Time continues to pass, and Harker stays prisoner, eventually the dates that he was supposed to leave come, and as they pass Jonathan starts to think that he will never be released.
