Have you ever felt broken, even broken beyond repair? I know I have!
David felt that way too. David wrote something amazing in Psalms 31. In verse 12, David reveals something very important when he compares himself to a broken vessel. Why is it so important that David describes his feelings like a broken vessel? We all know what it feels like to be broken, and we can visualize what a broken vessel looks like. A broken vessel has lost its purpose and its usefulness. David is revealing to us that he feels so broken that he feels like he has lost his purpose and his ability to be used.
Unfortunately, many of us have felt that way. Fortunately, God is a great healer.
Psalms 34:18- The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Psalms 147:3- He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
In today’s episode we’re going to talk about recovering from brokenness. You are not broken beyond repair. Let’s start building!
