Happy BuildShipRepeat Day friends! Today we have Idette, an IT Support Associate based in Seattle, working at Amazon. Idette started the role during the midst of the pandemic and talks about her experience so far.

We discussed what it's like to be a woman working in a male-dominated area, and how Idette's current role makes her feel included and welcome. We also talked about the culture within teams, and how to build strong teams.

Finally, we talked about advice for finding a role in IT or tech and how much experience matters in finding your ideal role. Idette shared how she gained experience initially and how vital she thought it was to her getting her first role in this space.
