Starting in 2013, BeFit began as a functional training session on a gym rooftop, which grew into the leading and fastest growing fitness entity in the Egyptian market. BeFit progressed from a functional training brand to full gym services, fitness camps and retreats, seasonal locations, nutrition programs, and physiotherapy services. It has since opened 12+ locations with a team of more than 75 coaches and trains over 40,000 people.

Aly Mazhar grew as an inspiring public figure in the country to the Egyptian youth. In 2016 he was chosen as Endeavor Entrepreneur and in 2021 won the first Egypt’s Entrepreneur Award in the "Sports & Fitness" category. He has been chosen as part of a nationwide anti-drug campaign by the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and has become an advocate for integrating a healthy lifestyle within our communities.
