An earlier piece I put up in about July - called Running Scared - was intended to generate anxiety - even fear - not easy in an acoustic guitar piece when all the sounds are generally very pleasant. But I mentioned how Eric Clapton diid it so effectively in his score for the BBC series The Edge of Darkness - which he co- wrote with Michael Nyman.. This piece is nothing like that tune but by building a long crescendo was intended to increase tension as the piece developed .
