Giants & Locusts ―How do you see yourself compared to the devil and the forces of darkness, who appose you? Most people struggle to maintain a healthy and accurate self-image. In fact, the average sees himself much smaller and weaker than he really is, and this puts him at a great disadvantage in the spirit realm.
The devil knows how to use a poor self-image against you. He knows how your faith is affected by the inner image you carry of yourself in your heart. The Children of Israel were unable to enter the promised land because they suffered from what I call ‘Grasshopper Vision.’
Nu 13:33 "There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight."
It took forty years of wandering in the desert for God to develop an accurate self-image in the heart of this people. Then, the same people rose up, stormed into the promised the land, and easily subject the same obstacles that the first-generation thought were impossible to overcome. Let the Spirit begin building a godly self-image in your heart today!
