The Devil’s Devices ―you can’t prepare for something that you are not aware of. In his famous book ‘The Art of War,’ Sun Tzu1 said “Know the enemy and know yourself.” The Bible tells us precise and accurate intelligence of how the forces of darkness around us operate is imperative if we are going to win the good fight of faith set before us.
~ “Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices” (2Corinthians 2.11).
Unfortunately, the enemy usually has the upper hand against the modern believer due to a lack of knowledge about his favorite and most common tactics on the battlefield. Jesus shines some extraordinary light on this topic, leaving the enemy completely vulnerable and at the mercy of the enlightened soldier of the cross.
