Josh Lavine is an American Enneagram teacher on a mission to change the way we view the inner world and personal growth. He helps impact-focused, earth-loving founders find their unique path of personal growth, so they can be the leader their mission, and the world, needs.

Purpose

To help usher in a revolution in our collective way of being — one that embraces an integral sensibility, that honors inner work as much as outer achievements, and that champions love, planetary harmony, and the deepening of our consciousness. Also, let's save the Earth, and our species.

Short bio

Integral Coach with a focus on leadership and teamwork. Josh interweaves psychology, spirituality, and developmental modalities to help leaders cultivate self-mastery across all domains of life. He also leads workshops on the Enneagram and volunteer with the Enneagram Prison Project. Josh meditates daily and plays piano.

The Enneagram

A system of personality types like Myers-Briggs, but better. Applicable wherever humans are. Supercharges self-discovery, inner work, and teamwork. Combines modern psychology with ancient wisdom.

Inspiration

Peter Senge, Frederick Laloux, Ken Wilber, David Whyte, Eckhart Tolle, Adyashanti, Wendy Palmer, Parker Palmer, Mary Oliver, Byron Katie, Eugene Gendlin.

Core Beliefs

  1. Being our best self requires sincere "inner work" — meaning: self-discovery, self-correction, and self-generation — which we cannot do alone.

  2. Three foundational competencies help bring out the best in others: empathic listening, clear and powerful speaking, and "seeing" others' worth and potential.

  3. We develop more through practice than content acquisition.
